Seattle Equity Summit

On April 26, 2019 H2Growth produced Seattle’s first summit on racial and economic equity, A Community Collaboration For Justice, on behalf of the Satterberg Foundation and in partnership with Technology Access Foundation [TAF] and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Institute. The summit brought together civic, business, and philanthropy leaders with practitioners, advocates and experts to share strategies for advancing equity in education, housing, and economic mobility. Participants committed to concrete actions following the summit. Click here for the program

Six Annual Nonprofit Leadership Summits

Over six years Linda C. Hartley co-chaired and produced the annual Nonprofit Leadership Summit, a regional event hosted by Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in Bethel, NY. Civic, business and nonprofit leaders from New York and surrounding states gathered together to discuss the region’s challenges and identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation, inspiring real solutions to improve community health, well-being and economic vitality. Successful models moved from traditional approaches to the intersecting social factors that shape our daily lives. Click here for sample program

ENDORSEMENTS

“Linda, I just wanted to drop a quick line to say congratulations on yet another amazing Summit. From the youth singing in the morning to the culminating speaker on leadership at the end, the Summit was well executed and insightful…The Summit truly inspired hope so kudos to you and the whole committee. I certainly know how much work it takes to pull off a day like that. Thanks so much and again, congrats!” ~Amanda Langseder, MSOL, CLC. Director, Community Health, Greater Hudson Valley Health System

“What a wonderful outcome…and how we deeply appreciate all who worked so hard to make the day happen. All of you left an indelible footprint as Sullivan County Builds Forward. I feel privileged to have played a small part.” ~A. James Forbes, former President and CEO, New Hope Community

“To all the leaders of regional nonprofit groups who convened again last week at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts as they have annually for several years now to figure out how they can help each other as they help the people and causes they serve. The challenge this year was not much different from the one that faced the groups in the past, although it has become more daunting. As government funding sources and individual contributions dwindle in many cases, the groups find themselves working to do even more with even less. Collaboration and cooperation are the key to survival and the annual gathering helps both.” ~Times Herald Record
